The people of Lander, the new mining camp in Bullion district, have decided that they will not leave the Fourth of July, 1907, go by unobserved and have arranged to have a rousing time in their prosperous and growing town on the Fourth. There will be a single hand drilling contest, horse races, potato races, sack races, base ball game, tug-of-war and other amusements.
A grand ball will take place in the Pavilion in the evening.
An invitation is extended to the public to be present and help celebrate the first Fourth held in the town of Lander.
