Thursday the hardware business and stock in trade of the firm of H. D. Newcomb was transferred by the present owner, Mrs. H. D. Newcomb, to John F. and Frank F. Goldcamp and H. C. Rudmann, of this city, for a nominal consideration not mentioned. All the necessary papers have been signed and the transfer completed, the firm opening up to-day under the title of Goldcamp Bros. & Co., and conducting the business on the usual lines. John F. Goldcamp, who for the past three years has been a faithful and competent employe of Mr. Newcomb, during which years of faithful service and attention to business under as competent an instructor as the lamented Mr. Newcomb, he has acquired a knowledge of the business of the firm, which we hope may insure him the success which attended the efforts of the late owner. It is likely that the present employes of the firm will be retained.—[Frontonian.
