INHABITANTS OF ST. JOHN WELCOME NEW GOVERNOR

An official public reception was held at Cruz Bay Park, St. John yesterday morning in honor of Governor L. W. Cramer.

A party of twenty-five, including Councilman Craque for that island, and other prominent citizens accompanied the Governor. They sailed on the motor boat "St. John." Owing to the limited passenger capacity of the boat a larger number of invitations was declined.

Commissioner & Mrs. Arthur I. Edison of St. John were responsible for the special occasion, which took place at eleven o'clock, and later in the day guests exchanged courtesies and sat at a Buffet luncheon, given by the St. John officials at their home.

Five o'clock yesterday afternoon the party returned here after spending a most enjoyable time.
