Full Text

VIENNA, April 10.

Although England has hitherto seemed inclined to remain entirely neuter with respect to our difference with the Dutch, yet it is not doubted here, but that power will soon enter into a treaty of alliance with our court and that of Petersburg. Indeed it is even said, that the English ambassador is actually busied with the prince de Kaunitz, in drawing up the articles of such an alliance, which uniting the forces of the three powers, would be sufficient to surmount the obstacles which the other sovereigns of Europe would wish to throw in the way, to hinder the success of the great projects of our monarchs.
