New Bridge at Bellows's Falls.
On Thursday, the 20th current, a masterly, convenient, and well finished Bridge was opened at Bellows's Falls for the public convenience. This useful structure, built of firm and durable materials, and completely executed by workmen of approved skill and fidelity, consists of two arches, and is 365 feet in length and 26 in breadth.-- The mechanism is in a very superior style, and finished with the neatness of cabinet work. The bridge is remarkably firm and solid, and all its materials are of the first quality. Too much praise cannot be given to Messrs. Mills and Greene, the architects, or to the constant combination of industry and ingenuity which they have displayed. We earnestly hope that the enterprising and public spirited proprietor, Frederick W. Geyer, Esq. will ultimately have the double benefit of ministering to the public good, and realizing a compensation for the trouble and expense to which he has been exposed.
