Kennamer Trial for Fatal Shooting Opens

Pawnee, Okla., Feb. 11.—(AP) Social registerites of oil wealthy Tulsa rubbed shoulders with Indians in blankets and pigtails here Monday as Phil Kennamer, 19-year-old son of a federal judge went on trial for the fatal shooting of his friend, John F. Gorrell

"Jelly Bean" Center, gathering place of Tulsa's wealthy sons and daughters, contributed a large share of witnesses in the case which has had the self-styled oil capital teeming with excitement since the son of Federal Judge Franklin E. Kennamer was arrested two months ago. The case was transferred here on a change of venue.
