MUNIFICENT GIFT
JESUITS RECEIVE DONATION IN SAN FRANCISCO.

The Jesuit Fathers of St. Ignatius, San Francisco, announce that a generous benefactress, Mrs. Berthe L. Welch, has promised to build a splendid community residence for the priests at a probable cost of several hundred thousand dollars on the site of the present million dollar Church of St. Ignatius, just east of the edifice. This will leave ample space for the proposed building of the new University of St. Ignatius, to complete and perfect the plant and work of the Jesuit Fathers in San Francisco.
