We hear from Marlborough, that last Week one Mrs. Allen of that Town, who for some Time past has been disordered in her Senses, and confined in a Cage, and lay on Straw, which was scattered about the Room, which by some Accident took Fire and communicated the Flames to her Cage, and her Son soon after returning from the Barn attempted to enter the Room to recover his Mother, when the Smoke beat him back in such a Manner when he opened the Door that he was stunn'd with the fall, but immediately recovered and made a second Attempt, and drew her out by her legs, though very much burnt, her Ear and Tongue almost to a Coal, and her Ribs so that they appeared quite plain, and in this condition he lived a Day or two and then expired raving Mad.
