The Boy Scouts of Troop 99 at Bethune went on inspection Saturday, April 26 with several troops of Greater Miami and two of the adjoining counties. The scouts were placed second in dress.
This troop was organized in December, 1951 under the supervision of Mr. Frank T. Rivers, Scout Master; Samuel Grant, as assistant scout master and Mr. Luther L. Bibbs, committeeman.
This troop is to be commended for their splendid cooperation with each other.
We are also soliciting membership for all boys desiring to become members of this National Organization to join now.
A meeting of the PTA will be held Tuesday night, May 6 at 8:00 o'clock p.m. All members are urged to be present. Business of Importance.
