SENATOR GORE HOPES
TO REGAIN SIGHT

[By Associated Press.]

Washington, June 2.—In the hope that he may recover his eyesight, T. P. Gore, the blind senator of Oklahoma, entered upon a course of treatment yesterday at the Episcopal eye, ear and throat hospital in this city, under the care of Dr. William H. Holland Wilmer.

"The treatment is experimental," said Senator Gore. "I will continue with the treatment for a week, and, if there is any improvement, a slight operation will be performed. The retina of my left eye has become separated from the optic nerve and the treatment will furnish it with nourishment."
