NARROWLY ESCAPE.

BISBEE, Dec. 20--While making the return trip from Tombstone to Bisbee yesterday in his Hudson speedster, A. N. Alvin and party narrowly escaped instant death or serious injury when their machine skidded and turned over about five miles this side of Tombstone. Mr. Alvin, master mechanic for the C. & A. was driving against a hard rain. The machine started skidding toward a bank with a drop-off of about 15 feet. Mr. Alvin saw the danger and headed the machine into a ditch where it struck head-on and turned on its side. None of the occupants of the machine were injured in any way.
