BY LAST NIGHT'S MAIL.

Captain Smith, of the schooner Young Spartan, arrived at Baltimore on Saturday last, in 16 days from Margaretta, reports that, a short time before he sailed, accounts were received there of the Patriots having taken Barcelona, and that they were in possession of La Guaira and Curacoas.

All the Patriot fleet had left Margaretta for the Orinoco, where Bolivar was concentrating his forces. The Patriots had little doubt of driving the Royalists before them. Captain S. left only two American vessels at Margaretta—names unknown.
