EL PASO, Tex., Feb. 13.- Rumors of a revolt against the federal authorities in Sonora have been circulated here and in Juarez for the past month.
When the 1,000 federal troops reached Juarez en route to Sonora overland, a number of the officers and men of the command which was made up largely of Yaqui Indians, said they would not fight against their tribesmen in Sonora. On the way to the border several mutinies occurred and while in Juarez the men refused to obey the commands of their officers on a number of occasions.
Villa claims to have the Yaqui movement under his control and that Reyna, the leader of the Indian uprising, is one of his commanders.
