Event Details
An impetuous wind rose with extreme violence, driving the waters of the river ten leagues from its banks, inundating the neighbouring country and leaving the river bed dry. This revealed lost vessels. Many persons walked the dry river bed and returned with silver and spoils from the vessels. The wind ceased after 3 days, and the waters returned impetuously to the river bed.
