MISS WILSON.

Extract of a letter from London, January 30

"A great star has lately come out at Drury Lane, a Miss Wilson. She is said to excel Mrs. Billington and Catalani. She sings the 'Soldier tir'd,' three times every night. A high compliment has been paid her by the celebrated Miss Siddons. A few nights ago, Mrs. Siddons, with Lady Harcourt, and a large party, went into the green room, when Mrs. Siddons told Miss Wilson she never saw so much science in singing, combined with such great acting, for she is an elegant actress. She draws immense crowds to the Theatre—London is in an uproar about her."
