Madrid and Other Cities Attacked From Air During the Day

(By The Associated Press.)

Insurgent airplanes loosed loads of bombs on Spanish government territory today.

With the land operations in the Guadalajara sector northeast of Madrid at a momentary standstill, insurgent aircraft were reported to have killed ten persons in an attack five miles north of Madrid, and also to have bombed Madrid, Guadalajara and Alcala de Henares.

Six tri-motored planes bombed the port of Barcelona, on the Mediterranean, killing four persons. They
