PARTIES OF THE WEEK

Dover, March 21—The first meeting of the John M. Clayton Society of the Children of the American Revolution was held Saturday afternoon at the home of Miss Jeanette C. Frame, the president.

Miss Anna Raughley entertained her bridge club and several additional guests Monday evening at her home.

Mrs. Frank Hall Davis entertained two clubs of which she is a member at luncheon and bridge, Tuesday afternoon of last week, at her home on the Green. Covers were laid for twenty.

Mr. and Mrs. John Carrow had as recent guests their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. J. Rigby Valliant and daughter, Miss Mary Elizabeth, of Woodbury, N. J. Another daughter, Mrs. J. Brynberg Morrow, Mr. Morrow and two daughters, of Wilmington, were also guests Sunday.

D. Rodney Bice has been in Baltimore for several days for eye treatment.

Mrs. Leonard Schwartz was hostess at a St. Patrick's bridge supper Friday evening, at her home.

Mrs. Charles L. Terry, Jr., who has just celebrated her birthday anniversary, was the guest of honor at a small luncheon and bridge party given by Mrs. Benjamin F. Johnson.

The St. Patrick's dance held Friday evening at the Century Club rooms was well attended by the younger set.

Mr. and Mrs. Norman P. Morris entertained twelve guests at buffet supper and bridge, Saturday evening, at their home on State street.

Miss Iris Wilson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. Harry Wilson, is one of the seventy most attractive and scholarly co-eds to take part in the annual May Court to be given at Temple University, Philadelphia, this spring.

Mr. and Mrs. William their recent guests had as son-in-law and daughter and Mrs. Herbert Burns Rudow and daughter June William, Jr., all of New.

Mr. Fred Bell, Jr., who very ill at the Kent General Hospital, celebrated her birthday anniversary while there and recipient of many gifts from friends.
