Full Text

Herman Groundwald, one of the Arlington boys who left about a year ago to assist in turning the Germans around, returned last week and is now employed on the C. W. Peterson ranch.

For the past eight months many friends of Herman have asked us why we did not make mention of Herman's death, which occurred in New York last September, but up to the present time we have been unable to get the facts. We approached Herman on the subject and he himself was unable to give us the details. As near as he can remember he says he has not taken a spoonful of medicine nor been sick a day since he left for the army, and he never felt better in his life than he does now. He certainly looks the part, too.

However, we are all mighty glad it was all a mistake, and he was able to come back to us in his usual good health and strength.
