The National Tariff Convention.
NEW YORK, November 14.-The National
Tariff Convention, to be held in this city
the 29th and 30th inst., is creating great
interest throughout the country. Over
four hundred and fifty delegates have
already been elected. It is estimated that
representatives of more than $1,000,000,000
of capital invested in manufactures will be
present, while the mercantile, labor and
farming interests will be equally well rep-
resented. United States Senator Warner
Miller, of New York, will be permanent
chairman.
