Joaquin Miller, distinguished poet and lecturer, will appear at Mason's opera house on the evening of March 28th. The Boston Daily Globe reports he attracted a large crowd to the Keith theater last night where he spoke on the Klondike, with the audience listening to his word painting of "Our Arctic Empire." He began by quoting from the Bible, "Have you seen the treasures of the snow?" leading to silence followed by applause.
