Ruling over the week end festivities will be Sylvia Garland, FHS senior and the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R E. Garland, of Farmville. She will be crowned queen during halftime activities at the game Friday night by Quinton Overton football captain.

Members of her court include Patsy Foster, maid of honor; Margie Spencer, junior; Ruth Catline, sophomore; Mary Stratton Doyne freshman, and Betty Hall eighth grade.

A downtown parade of decorated cars is planned for Friday afternoon. The parade will form at the High School, and then proceed down High street to St. George, down St. George to Third down Third to Virginia street, to the High School.

A second parade, tentatively scheduled for the High School band, will march from the down- town area to the High School just before game time.
