The story goes that since 1927 there has never been a week when the King of Kings was not played somewhere and that in all over 600,000,000 people have seen it, so says the literary digest. There is a cast of 6,000 persons and Mr DeMille's budget for cost of production was $2,400,000.
The screen play is costing the society $25.00. No charge will be made but a free will offering will be taken with the hopes of getting enough to defray the expense.
