HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES.
Monday, June 5.
[Taken for the Alexandria Gazette.]

Two other members appeared, were qualified and took their seats.

A message from the senate, announcing the death of Francis Malbone, and that his funeral will take place this afternoon at five o'clock.

On motion of Mr. Potter,

Resolved, That the members of this house will attend the funeral of Francis Malbone.

Resolved, That the members of this house will wear crape for one month, as a testimony of respect for the memory of the deceased.

On motion of Mr. Smilie, the house adjourned, after a session of twenty minutes.

The committee appointed to enquire what business was necessary to be done this session have drafted their report, but it was not laid before the house. They state it as their opinion that all may be done by the 20th inst.
