Transport Hudson Arrived—Bodies of Capron and Fish Brought North.
Newport News, Va., July 26.—The transport Hudson, from Santiago, arrived in Hampton Roads yesterday. From the foremast floated a yellow flag indicating sickness aboard. Dr. Pettus, the national quarantine officer, it was learned did not feel justified in permitting those on board to land. The Hudson is understood to carry a number of sick and wounded soldiers from Santiago.
The bodies of Captain Capron and Sergeant Hamilton Fish are on the ship, enroute north for interment. It is said that Sylvester Scovel, the New York newspaper correspondent, who was ordered from Cuba because of insulting conduct to General Shafter, is also on board.
