LEGAL PROCEEDINGS TO BEGIN AT TEXICO
Santa Fe's Proposal to Remove Track Out of Border Town Will Be Resisted by Citizens.

Attorney General J. M. Hervey, of New Mexico, arrived in Albuquerque last night and spent the night here. General Hervey will leave this morning for Texico, where he goes in connection with the legal proceedings by which the people of Texico hope to restrain the Santa Fe railroad from the proposed removal of its tracks south from the border town, the proposed removal following the opening of the new line from Cameo, on the Pecos valley line, to Clovis.

The case has aroused much interest in eastern New Mexico and will be watched with interest.
