Called to Union Baptist Pastorate

Rev. Pete Broxton was called as pastor of the church on Wednesday night, February 7.

The services at Union Baptist Church were very inspiring throughout the day.

Supt. E. Washington was in charge of the Sunday School. The lesson was thoroughly discussed by Miss Johnnie Mae Lockhart.

Our pastor, Rev. Pete Broxton preached the 11 a.m. sermon from the subject, "Dealing With The Devil."

Rev. Broxton's subject for the 7 p.m. sermon was "When The Outlook Is Bad, Try The Uplook."

The No. 1 Choir will render the music on Sunday, February 18.

We are asking everyone to visit the sick and shut-ins. Rev. Pete Broxton, pastor; Mrs. Lillie Mae Anderson, reporter.
