BOSTON Sept. 22.

From the New-York Gazette, brought by the Hartford Post, we have the following Particulars.—

Honour of Gen. O'Reilly, the British Subjects there remain in the greatest Security: He has constantly refused to lay any Duties on British Goods, though strongly solicited thereto by the Royal Company. Captain Webber, of the Cerberus, was to sail for England in a few Days. The Spaniards are busy in repairing their Fortifications of that Place; 3000 Negroes are at work upon the Cannonoes at that Place; they are likewise clearing, the high Ground near the Moro, where they intend to build a strong Fort: Most of the Deserters from the English have come to the Spaniards, but they shew them no Pity; and, 'tis thought they will be sent to the Mines: What Pity is it, that so many brave Men should bring eternal ruin on themselves!
