The first of what the builders believe will be a considerable number of new homes is now almost completed on Tenth street well out in the suburbs. There are five rooms. Each room is attractive and if anything a bit larger than in the ordinary modern home. The bath room is especially attractive and comfortably arranged.
While not all the wood work and plumbing has been installed as yet the house has been put on sale and Rice and company, who with Ed. Powell, well known local contractor have had a part in its building, are handling the sale.
Announcement is expected at any time, according to the builders, that the house has been sold and immediately upon this announcement work will start on a second home.
This building program was carefully outlined based on the supposition that this city was very much crowded and that there would be a steady demand for good attractive homes at low prices. The aim of the builders is to build within a moderate price range and at the same time produce dwellings that are attractive in every way.
