The following letter of acknowledgment was received from Mrs. Hay, wife of the late Secretary of State, by Beth Zur Lodge, I.O.B.B.:
"Newbury, N. H., Aug. 31, 1905.--Mr. Leon Schwarz: Dear Sir: Will you kindly extend to the members of Beth Zur Lodge No. 84, I.O.B.B., my sincere thanks for the copy of the beautiful tribute which they have paid to my late husband. I have been greatly touched by the affectionate regard which has been shown by your people all over the world and am proud to think that he was able to help them in their great trouble.
