MURDEROUS ASSAULT.

Committed to Jail on Charge of Intent to Kill.

Alfred, Oct. 14.

Frank Bickford of Lebanon, on charge of assault with intent to kill committed on Oct. 1st, on William Roche of Sanford, was bound over in $500 bail to await action of the grand jury, by Trial Justice J. F. Day. George J. Halley of Biddeford, is attorney for the prisoner. In default of bail the prisoner was committed to jail, The respondent has served fourteen years in State prison and been out but three months.
