British, United States Occupation Officials To Discuss Plan Soon
WASHINGTON. May 9 -
British and United States occupation authorities are expected to meet with American cotton exporters in Germany shortly to discuss the future supply of cotton for German mills.
The conversations, the site of which has not yet been decided, will be aimed at providing an estimated 25,000 bales of American cotton monthly for German mills.
John C. White, attorney for American cotton exporters, told a reporter that formation of a $20,000,000 semi-private corporation to finance the cotton exports to Germany is dependent on the results of the projected talks.
Cotton Supply corporation, tentatively named the American Cotton White said the organization can exporters will subscribe $1,000,000 to its capital and the Export - Import bank $19,000,000 added, if the bank approves plans.
