Unofficial Returns Give Roosevelt Plurality of Almost 37,900.
Portland, Me., Nov. 10—A revised unofficial tabulation of all except one town and six plantations of the 618 cities, towns and plantations in Maine gives for President Roosevelt, 65,381; Parker, 27,547; all others, 2704. Roosevelt's plurality 37,837. Net gain, 9269.
The same places in 1900 gave McKinley 66,334; Bryan 37,766; all others 3463. McKinley's plurality, 28,568. The seven missing places gave McKinley 83, Bryan 31.
The vote by congressional districts was as follows: First, Roosevelt, 16,425; Parker, 7511; plurality, 8914. In 1900 McKinley, 15,773; Bryan, 9816; plurality, 5057.
Second, Roosevelt, 16,677; Parker 8120; plurality, 8557. In 1900 McKinley, 15,014; Bryan, 11,499; plurality, 6515.
Third, Roosevelt, 15,202; Parker, 6335; plurality, 8867. In 1900, McKinley, 15,811; Bryan, 5029; plurality, 6782.
