Victory Still perches on the Standards of the Imperial Eagles.

The Penelope British Packet, arrived at Barbados the 20th June, in 27 days from Falmouth, in England. She consequently communicates English dates to about May 23d—twelve days later than before received:—They state:

That the Austrian arms, assisted by the oppressed Swiss, have driven the French from Switzerland, with great slaughter:

That the confederate armies in Italy, had attacked, and taken Milan; and that the French were retreating towards Dauphiny, with the utmost rapidity—intimidated at the contact with the Russian invincibles.
