A Champion in His Own Defense.

To the Editor of The Leader:

LEADVILLE, Jan. 10.—Please be kind enough to correct the statement in your paper that I was at Fort Collins and had a fight with some man called Tom Warren, for I have never been in Fort Collins in my life, although I am an adopted son of Wyoming, being there when it was accepted as a territory. If this man Warren wants a fight let him come to Leadville and I will teach him and all other would-be fighters not to use my name again.

By inserting the above you will be doing me justice.

Capt. HARRY MORGAN,
Light Weight Champion of the Northwest.
