Miss Marie Moran of Charles Mix to Share in Distant Relative's Estate.
Wheeler, S. D.--Miss Marie Moran, adopted daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Denny Moran, prominent residents of Charles Mix county, has been officially advised that through the death of a distant relative she is one of five heirs to an estate valued at $60,000.
Soon after her mother died she was legally adopted by Denny Moran and wife and has since resided with them. Not until about a year ago was she advised that the supposed parents were not in reality her father and mother, and was told the story of the death of her own mother soon after her birth. Her foster parents own a beautiful home near the southwest shore of Lake Andes and there the young woman spends all her time when not acquiring an education, she being a student of Dakota Wesleyan university at Mitchell. She is a bright and accomplished young lady and will make good use of the money which she has inherited.
