AN INTERESTING DOCUMENT (to those who are able to read it) was handed us a few days since by a gentleman. We have looked over it carefully, and find it is a deed of conveyance, written on vellum, May 28, 1661, in French, in a very neat, regular and uniform, though to us not very legible 'notary' hand. Our French fellow-citizens, we have no doubt, could read it without much difficulty. The vellum or parchment, though over two hundred years old, is as good, as white and as smooth to-day, as it was on the day it was written, when Richelieu ruled the destinies of France and of Europe. Any one curious to see, or desirous to decipher this relic of the olden time, can be gratified by calling at our office.
