ST. DOMINGO.

We learn from Captain Perry, of the schr. Lively from the City of Santo Domingo, that no attack had been made on that place by the indigenous army under Dessalines, nor was such an event expected, the troops being stationed at a considerable distance. The island through out was tranquil. An uninterrupted intercourse was permitted to American vessels by the British blockading squadron, who were stationed there for the avowed purpose of intercepting a French fleet which was daily expected with reinforcements.
