Votes UAW-CIO

Studebaker Local 255, Los Angeles, voted 100 percent at a membership meeting to go along with the UAW-CIO and send per capita payments to Intl. Sec.-Treas. Ades. The local has 350 members.

The action followed a visit by Pres. Chester Ralston of Studebaker Local 5, South Bend, Ind.

This makes the west coast practically unanimous against the rump.

The California Studebaker plant has been operating on a 5-day week and the model shut-down is not expected until August.
