Judge Ben Curler of Nye county, member of the Republican State Central Committee from Nye county, demonstrated more real interest in the important matters at stake in the meeting of the Committee at Virginia yesterday than anybody. He came all the way from Belmont, enduring a long distance of rough winter staging, to say nothing of numerous miles of railroading all at his own expense and loss of time, and went back home last night happy in the consciousness of having done his honest duty by himself and his constituents. Several other members from his section with far less and troublesome distance to go were represented by proxies.
