From the Pennsylvania Packet of February 11th received yesterday we are authorized to declare the account published in our last of the death of the King of Great Britain, premature.
The following are extracts from that paper.
LONDON December 9, 1788.
HOUSE of COMMONS.
THE KING.
Kew Palace.
Dec. 9, Ten o'clock in the morning.
"His Majesty has had a quiet night, and continues in all other respects as he was yesterday."
NEW PALACE
Dec. 10, Ten o'clock in the morning.
"His Majesty slept for four hours last night, and continues the same as yesterday"
Dec 10. Yesterday at 12 o'clock, one of the messengers arrived at St. James's, with the physician's letter to the lord in waiting
KEW HOUSE, Dec 9.
"His Majesty has had more than seven hours of undisturbed sleep last night, and is quiet this morning.

His majesty, besides the unhappy malady under which he has some time laboured, is at present afflicted with a severe complaint in his bowels, of the nature of a dysentery, from which the most alarming consequences are apprehended.
PHILADELPHIA, Feb. 11
Extract of a letter from New York, dated Feb. 7.
"The British Packet is not yet arrived. although spoke with at sea on the 1st of this month. We have an arrival from London in 47 days. No Regency yet fixed The King's insanity may probably be got the better of. Great animosity between the Pittites and Foxites. the latter pressing for a sole Regent in the Prince's person."
