The London press favor us with their views on the Harper's Ferry outbreak. The Times compares Brown's plot to that of Guy Fawkes, and argues that the fact of the attempt is evidence of the existing elements of danger in our social system. The News is quite philosophical, and thinks the negroes exhibited wonderful patience and generosity, but regards the conduct of the conspirators as calculated to impede the abolition of slavery in the Southern States, and especially in Maryland.
