NEWPORT: WEDNESDAY, MARCH 11, 1812
We call the attention of our readers to the masterly address given in this day's paper, published by the Republican Convention held at Providence. The wickedness and corruption of many of our political opponents are there portrayed in such forcible colours, as to stamp conviction upon the minds of all of the depravity of their leading men. We shall shortly enter into an investigation of the conduct of our depraved political opponents, and give them all the consideration which they merit.
