Wiggin's Flood
To the Cheyenne Leader,
I do not want to trust in Wiggins but I fear not to. When Noah foretold the flood my ancestors sneered at him and "hadn't sense enough to get out of the rain;" consequently every one of them was drowned and got very wet. In the disaster which now, like a drawn sword, impends over our heads, I have arranged with the telephone company for a place on the big pole at Nagle's corner, thus insuring ancestors to my posterity.
Yours,
JAMES EMPTY.
