Full Text

Fever in Augusta.

The news from Augusta is somewhat more favorable than could have been expected. The cases are scarcely so numerous, and the disease seems to have assumed a milder form. The Board of Health are, nevertheless, particular in advising those who have left the city to remain where they are for the present. We trust our afflicted neighbors will soon have much better times. But it can hardly be expected that business should become at all brisk until a killing frost shall have visited our section.
