The annual meeting of this Society was held at the Baptist Tabernacle, on Thursday, April 30, at 10 A. M., the President, Rev. Geo. B. Ide, of Philadelphia, in the chair. The report of the Board of Managers was read, embracing a brief history of the Society from its commencement, only a part of which we had the pleasure of hearing. A plan having been proposed to change the name and enlarge the operations of this society, the time which would otherwise have been devoted to a public meeting, was employed in settling the principles, and defining the plan of operations.
