Carrying Concealed Weapons.
The Herald would rejoice to see a more rigid law enacted to prevent and punish this cowardly and murderous practice. The number of men in this community who make it a point to go armed is larger than some of our readers may suppose.
Not that their lives are in danger or that anybody is enamored of their gore, but simply because they are naturally aggressive and derive their courage principally from the fact that they are armed.
Their manner and tone is that of armed men. The habit is very much to be deprecated and nothing but a number of examples made will check the practice.
