The many friends of August Biron,
the well known pioneer mining man
of Tombstone will be shocked to learn
that he is hovering between life and
death at the Copper Queen Hospital
at Bisbee,
according
to telephone
message received here this morning.
Mr. Biron had been ailing for the past
week, but it was not thought that the
sickness was of a serious nature, this
morning, however it was learned that
he had undergone an operation at the
hospital and was unconscious and not
expected to live through the day.
The many Tombstone friends of the
old pioneer sincerely hope that he will
recover and be able to return home
soon. Nothing further
was heard
this afternoon as to his condition.
