BPR HEAD TRANSFERRED
TO STATES ASSIGNMENT

JUNEAU -(AP)

The Bureau of Public Roads announced this week that A. F. Ghiglione, director of the old Alaska Road Commission, would be transferred to highway duties in the States.

The announcement, which said Ghiglione's transfer would not be effective until early next year, did not say where the long-time head Territorial road construction programs would be sent.

However, it was learned that Ghiglione probably would be moved to Washington, D. C., as an assistant to Charles D. Curtiss, Commissioner of the Bureau of Public Roads.
