Sunday, July 22, was really a record-breaking day for the Secondary and Adult divisions of the Wheat Street Church School. The total offering for that Sunday was $60 and total attendance was 140.

In the secondary division, Mr. Gross's class of boys led the intermediate department with an offering of $15. This class was closely followed by Mrs. Huff's class whose offering was $8.25.

In attendance, Mrs. Huff's class intermediate girls with an attendance of 17, won the attendance banner.

In the adult department, Mr. Gaston, a new member at that time and his class, led with an offering of $13; and the Mother's club led with an attendance of 31. Hats off to the mothers.

Again, Sunday, August 5, was another record-breaking day. Total offering Sunday was $55.44 and a total attendance of 130.

The offering banner went to Mr. Martin's class of the intermediate department with a collection of $3.70; and the attendance banner went to Mrs. Huff's intermediate girls. In the adult department, the offering banner went to Mr. Gaston's class with a collection of $21; and the banner for attendance went to Mr. Scruggs's Mother's class, whose attendance was 28.

We want to thank the senior department for rendering such a beautiful program under the direction of Mrs. Julia McKinney. The Young People's department will have charge of the program for Sunday, August 12.
