Republican feeling did not die out with the late Presidential election, as evidences the glorious triumph of freemen at the late State election in New Hampshire. Mr. Haile (no relation to John P. Hale) is elected Governor by from 5,000 to 6,000 majority. The State and Executive council are largely Republican, and in the House they have 30 to 40 majority. Every member of congress is Republican, as are also both Senators.

All hail, glorious New Hampshire! In the great battle now being fought between liberty and slavery, the "Old Granite State" strikes boldly for freedom. Let the minions of the slave power hear her voice and tremble! The political campaign for 1857 is thus auspiciously opened. Let The Ball Roll on.
